The first pressed SOY sauce (Kishibori Shoyu) which is completely naturally brewed in their traditional process and with nature's gifts; mild climate and pure, clean air on Shodo Island, Japan. The three ingredients in their SOY sauce, SOY beans, WHEAT and salt, are carefully selected, and the fermentation and aging of the SOY mash (moromi) takes more than a year in their cedar barrels, before the actual pressing. As a result, there are three distinctive characters that make their Kishibori Shoyu very exceptional; beautiful earthy aroma, brilliant reddish color and rich, full flavor. They proudly introduce their Kishibori Shoyu to your everyday cooking. But their Kishibori Shoyu is generally best known for sashimi and sushi . Also, it has a very rich taste, so they recommend you adjust the amount you use when seasoning with it.
